Texas A&M University-San Antonio is making it easier for students to stay connected and engaged with the launch of the CORQ app, which brings the University’s student engagement platform, JagSync, directly to students’ phones.
Through CORQ, students can access many of the same features available through JagSync, creating a more convenient way to discover campus activities, connect with student organizations and manage their involvement. Students can download CORQ and log in using their A&M-San Antonio credentials.
“It’s JagSync in the palm of your hand,” said Director of Student Life Emily Banda.
JagSync is A&M-San Antonio’s official online student engagement and involvement platform, serving as a central hub for students to explore opportunities across campus. While JagSync remains the primary platform for student organization officers to manage their organizations, CORQ provides students with a streamlined, mobile-friendly experience to explore campus life and stay connected.

Student organization leaders can continue using JagSync through CORQ to help manage their organizations, including rosters, event planning, funding requests and room reservations. The app provides students with a more accessible way to participate in campus life and build meaningful connections outside the classroom.
“Rather than having to open a browser and navigate to JagSync, students can simply open the CORQ app and instantly view events, explore organizations and find ways to get involved. It makes staying connected to campus much quicker, more convenient and more accessible,” said Priscilla Cazares, an MBA student and graduate assistant with the Office of Student Life.
For Priscilla, who is graduating in December, staying involved on campus has been a defining part of her Jaguar experience. Before becoming a graduate assistant, she served as vice president of the Mexican American Student Association, chapter president of the National Society of Leadership and Success, and was an active member of the Campus Activities Board.
"Being involved in student organizations allowed me to connect with other students, develop leadership skills, and make the most of my college experience, so staying engaged on campus has always been important to me," she said.
As a graduate assistant, Priscilla helps plan and host campus events. She encourages students to use CORQ as their go-to resource for campus engagement.
The app gives students one convenient place to browse upcoming events, RSVP, save activities to their personal calendars and discover organizations that match their interests. Students can also view organization descriptions, find contact information, explore upcoming meetings and request to join recognized student organizations directly through the app.
Faculty and staff members can also use CORQ to access JagSync features and support student engagement, promote events, and connect students with campus resources.
