Alumnus Alex Quintero volunteered for Lights of Esperanza when she was a student and now plans to attend this year’s celebration with her two sons. “It was an amazing experience to work behind the scenes of Lights of Esperanza and see so many smiling faces, especially when families would take their pictures with General the Jaguar,” she said. “It made the holiday experience even more special knowing that I had a hand in the joy they shared. Now, as an alumna and community member, I get to experience that joy with my own family.”
